Last night we had a little talk with the kids about bullies, looking both ways before crossing the street and anything we could think of to discuss prior to school starting. After the discussion, I quickly added a little tidbit about not eating any drugs. Gracie was laid out on the ground with her legs crossed pretending to read a book so I didn’t really think she was listening. Mike added to not sniff glue to my “Don’t use drugs”. While “reading” her book, Gracie replied, “Okay Dad” to the sniffing glue part. I guess she was listening after all.
