Yesterday morning Mike and I were lying in bed trying not to wake up when the boys came into our room.
Jonathan in a loud whisper: “James, let’s spy on them. Do you know what spying is? It’s when you watch someone and they don’t know you are there.”
James replying in a loud whisper: “Oh. Go get car blankie.” He runs to get his blanket and is back in a second.
They continued to “spy” on us with loud whispers until we decided we could use a few cuddles. They were happy to oblige.
Last Sunday, the boys were sitting on the couch before church and Jonathan was looking through his gospel journal. He started singing Scripture Power to James. It was especially cute. After the song I overheard their llittle converstaion.
Jonathan: “James, do you like Scripture Power”
James: “Yes.”
Jonathan: “More than Wheels on the Bus?”
James: “Yes”
Jonathan: “You like it more than Wheels on the Bus? Wow.”
