This morning Ryan came into my bathroom dressed in a
superhero cape, cowboy hat and fluffy princess accessories holding a toy light
saber. He told me “Mom, I’m an
angel”. I’m all about those kinds of
angels.
The other day Gracie lay on the ground at bedtime unable to
move. This phenomenon happens
occasionally at bedtime with our children.
They are suddenly unable to make it up the stairs or make the long
journey to their beds. If they make it
to their beds, they are somehow unable to keep their entire body on the bed. She explained that she had been lying
lifeless on the floor for quite some time because her tummy hurt, her elbow
hurt, her pinkie toe hurt and her heart was “broken”.
Noteworthy News: On
Sunday we went to a church broadcast from Salt Lake. Ryan was hanging off my lap with his hands on
the floor for a while and in every other possible yoga pose at some point
during the meeting, but he made it through.
The broadcast was great too.
