I took Ryan to the church for an interview with the 2nd counselor in our bishopric on Saturday . I usually don’t attend interviews with our kids but the counselor invited me in so I figured he would be more comfortable with me there. He asked Ryan if he knew what The Word of Wisdom is. Ryan replied, “Yes. It’s choosing the right.” He then asked Ryan if he knew what The Law of Chastity is. Ryan replied, “Yes, it’s The Law of Chastity.” He rephrased it by asking if he knew what it means to be morally clean. Ryan replied in all seriousness, “Yes, it means to not walk around grumpy and mean all the time.” I guess I need we need to do a little better job of gospel teaching around here!
