Oh goodness. I’ve been so terrible at keeping track of all the cute things the little ones have been up to. Here is a quick list before I forget. Tonight during FHE, Jonathan said he had been inside the temple. It ends up he was talking about when we had visited the Ochre Mountain temple open house while visiting Utah which must have been at least two years ago. I thought it was neat that had made such an impression on him that he would remember it. Gracie’s newest favorite phrase is, “HereIgo, boo!” while she covers her eyes to play peek-a-boo. She loves chasing her brothers around and they are both usually quite sweet with her. Jonathan was out of school for the month of April so we put him and James in swim class at the local community college for the month. Jonathan has improved a lot and can actually somewhat swim freestyle which is really neat to see. James meanwhile just enjoyed charming his teachers. Whereas the other kids in his class managed to walk around the pool to get to their towels despite being wet and cold, he talked both different teachers into carrying him across the pool after each class. We also saw him rubbing noses with one of his teachers. Who is this kid anyway? Jonathan impressed Mike the other day by answer Mike’s tough question. If you make $5 an hour, how many hours do you need to work to make $88? He thought about it and answered, “17 or 18, but like one half, kind of”. The real answer is 17.6.
