James has been especially sweet these last couple of week by bringing me flowers in from the yard. The other day I turned around from the sink to find him standing there in an army hat with a flower for me. Unfortunately, he ran into some thorns yesterday and came in with a hurt saying a leaf had broken his arm.

Another cute thing James has started doing is saying, “well” before he answers any questions. It is quite endearing.
