Baby Girl

Jonathan had really wanted another boy so he wasn't thrilled when I told him the baby is a girl. My mom suggested telling him that Heavenly Father was sending the baby girl to our family now so she would have two big brothers to protect her. That was a great idea and probably true. He seemed to like the idea of being the strong big brother. However, he was concerned that maybe she wouldn't realize that he and James were there to "guard her" but that maybe she would think they were going to hurt her- a very understandable concern.
